                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 108
                   HONEST STREET, BEING ON THE NORTHEAST LINE OF
                   HONEST STREET NORTHWEST OF LEE HIGHWAY FROM
                   C-2 CONVENIENCE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT TO M-2
                   LIGHT INDUSTRIAL ZONE.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
             
              A tract of land located at 108 Honest Street, being on
              the northeast line of Honest Street northwest of Lee
              Highway.  Part of lot 7, Sterchi Acres, as shown by plat
              of record in plat book 17, page 70, R.O.H.C., said part
              of lot being described in deed book 1486, page 374,
              R.O.H.C., excepting therefrom the northeast corner which
              is made a part of the property described in deed book
              3235, page 249, R.O.H.C.  Tax Map No. 158A-C-24.
             
         from C-2 Convenience Commercial District to M-2 Light 
Industrial
         Zone.
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, the 
public
         welfare requiring it.
